Alice Vernell Briscoe

Mrs. Alice Vernell Tant Briscoe age 91 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Briscoe was born on February 14, 1927 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse William Tant and Minnie Vinson Tant; a son, Calvin Thomas Briscoe.
Mrs. Briscoe was a homemaker, she loved to cook, sitting and rocking in her rocking chair on her front porch, crossword puzzles, playing cards and taking rides with family.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy and Mary Briscoe of Williamson, Susie and Dickie Wyciskala of Griffin, Darryl and Mary Ann Briscoe of Barnesville, Cindy and Danny Yeoman of Williamson; twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Alice Vernell Briscoe will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
