Alma Stewart Martin

Mrs. Alma Stewart Martin, age 84, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Renaissance Health and Rehab in Griffin.

Alma was born in Hollywood, Georgia on March 1, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas D. Stewart and Ola Pauline Ivester Stewart; husband, Dennis Martin; several brothers and sisters also precede her in death. During her working career, Mrs. Martin was a bookkeeper for Humphrie’s Concrete Block Company in Doraville. She was a member of Duluth Church of God, she loved to read, gardening and shopping with her friends and family.

She is survived by her sisters Katherine Cabe of Cleveland, Georgia; sister, Betty Moore and brother-in-law, Randy Moore of Clarksville, Georgia; sister, Helen Miller and brother-in-law G.A. Miller of Palmetto, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is practicing caution and will not be holding a visitation. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Peachtree Memorial Park Cemetery in Norcross, Georgia.
