Anna Mae Foster

Anna Mae Foster, age 91 of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Dream Catchers Assisted Living in Jackson, Ga.

Anna was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 10, 1931. She is preceded in death by her parents, David William Foster and Dillie Mae Nowlan Foster; siblings, Jack Foster and Peggy Sue Redmon.

Owens Illinois Glass employed Anna before she retired to travel (Las Vegas to play slots was a favorite destination and she was a big fan of Elvis as well) and spend time with her family. An independent person, she would not let her family do things for her that she felt she could do herself-even if it meant chopping her own firewood.

She is survived by her sisters, Josephine Wynne (Ralph), Betty Demoray; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Gene Luke, will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Berea Cemetery in Hampton.
