Barbara Bethune

Barbara Lewis Bethune age 74 of Griffin passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.
Mrs. Bethune was born in Griffin, Georgia on August 25, 1946. Her parents, Marvin and Martha Lewis; husband, Larry V. Bethune preceded her in death. She was a longtime active member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, volunteered at Rushton Hope, and was retired from WellStar Spalding Hospital after 55 years of service.
Survivors include children, Todd and Anna Bethune, Tammy and Shannon Marion, Tim Bethune, Tiffany Fields; grandchildren, Will Bethune, Hunter Marion, Hagen Marion, Drew Bethune, Skylar Fields, Brady Bethune, Aspen Fields, Bowen Bethune; brothers, Scott Lewis, Dwayne Lewis; sister-in- law, Cherry Wright, husband Don Wright; brother-in-law, AJ Bethune, wife Pat Bethune; several nieces and nephews. 
Visitation for Mrs. Barbara Bethune will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Followed by a funeral service in the sanctuary. Pastor John Nance will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
