Barbara Huckaby Donehoo

Mrs. Barbara Huckaby Donehoo, age 89, of Griffin passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

Mrs. Donehoo was born in Griffin on March 17, 1931. Her parents, Fred Millard Huckaby and Lena Arnold Huckaby along with her husband, Claude E. “June Bug” Donehoo; son, Stanley Donehoo; sister, Dorothy H. Kersey all preceded her in death. Mrs. Donehoo was retired from the University of Georgia Experiment Station, a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

She is survived by grandchildren, Jordan Donehoo, Erin Tatum and husband, Joe; great grandchildren, Paisley Donehoo, Emmett Tatum, Holt Tatum; sister, Linda H. Burton; brothers, Hank Huckaby and wife, Amy, Richard Huckaby and wife, Marsha; special niece, Rosemary Faulkner; special friend, Lucile McCarty; many other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Barbara Donehoo will be on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, 797 Memorial Drive, Griffin, Georgia. Reverend Herb Flanders will officiate.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Rd, Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
