Ms. Ann A. Fisher, age 81 of Griffin passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
Ms. Ann Fisher was born in Griffin, Georgia on May 16, 1936 to Theo Andrews and Emma Smith Andrews. She retired from Griffin-Spalding County school system as a teacher. Ann was a devoted Sunday school teacher having taught for more than 30 years in the Winsome Sunday School class as well as being a faithful member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Brent Fisher and wife, Kelly, Cameron Fisher and wife, Tammy, Kaylyn Brown and husband, Glen; grandchildren, Jarrad Overman and wife, Amy, Blake Fisher and wife Anny, Elise Rice and husband, Rob, Hilary Fisher, Christian Fisher, Laurel Brown, Garrett Brown; 7 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, D. Scott Fisher.
A visitation for Ms. Ann A. Fisher will be Saturday, April 14th from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church. Following the visitation, the service will follow in at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church. Dr. Bill Hardee and Reverend Brian McCartney will officiate. The family requests that the Winsome Class sit together as a group . In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Missions Program/ May Church offering.
