Barbara Noreen Williams

Barbara Noreen Williams, 84, of Hampton, Georgia passed from this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born September 5, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noreen and Reed Facer. She was the loving wife of Ed Williams who also precedes her in death. She was a caring mother of her 4 and his 10 children, six of which also preceded her in death. She is survived by, Leon (Lee) Davis and Susan of Newborn, Ga., Debra (Debbie) Barber of Griffin, Ga., William (Bill) Davis of Hampton, Ga., John and Debbie Glavin of Jonesboro, Ga., Terry Williams of Hampton, Ga., Willie Williams of Thomaston, Ga., and Michael Williams of Montana. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She retired from the Atlanta Post Office with over 35 years of service. She was a very active member of the VFW. She served as the 4th district ladies Auxiliary president for 2 years, and served as post 5448 treasurer, also serving as American Legion post 15 auxiliary treasurer both from 1996 to 2020. 

A visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor David Scott will officiate. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
