Barbara T. Wise

Mrs. Barbara T. Wise (Ms. Kip), age 78 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

Mrs. Wise was born on April 12, 1940 in Jackson, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thomason and Mattie Fullerton Thomason. She was a longtime member of TOPS Club, Inc., where she formed many lifelong friendships; a member of Saint John Lutheran Church of Griffin.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Kipling L. Wise; children, Kim Wise Short and husband Kenneth, Marlys Wise Watson and husband Forrest, Kelly Lanier Wise; grandchildren, Russ Wood, Annaliese Watson, Forrest Watson III, Kipling Wise II, Keaton Wise; 3 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Barbara T. Wise will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery.
