Ms. Bertie Cook age 97, of Griffin, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.
Ms. Cook was born in Anniston, Alabama on June 27, 1920. She is preceded in death by her parents, James William Cook and Edna McDowell Cook; brother, Ralph Cook; sister, Nellie Mae Cook. Ms. Bertie was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Griffin. She retired from Gulf Life Insurance Office.
She is survived by her nieces, Lois Cook, Debra Cook Robbins; cousins, Doris and Joe Almand.
A graveside service for Ms. Bertie Cook will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm central time at Hillside Cemetery in Anniston, Alabama.
