Betty (Strickland) Ziesenhene

Mrs. Betty Strickland Ziesenhene, age 91 of Warner Robins Formerly of Griffin passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Lodge of Warner Robins.

Mrs. Ziesenhene was born in Experiment, Georgia on October 4, 1926. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.M. and Clyde Allen Strickland, her husband, George W. Ziesenhene, four brother and one sisters. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, retired from Spalding Regional Hospital. She served her country with the United States Women Army Corp having served in the Korean War. Mrs. Ziesenhene was a volunteer with the hospital auxiliary for over 50 years, a graduate of Spalding High School in 1943 and an avid golfer with the Griffin Ladies Golf Association.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Deborah Polk Ziesenhene; granddaughters, Jenna Ziesenhene and Ellen Ziesenhene; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Betty Strickland Ziesenhene will be Friday, September 7, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a graveside funeral service will be at Griffin Memorial Gardens. Dr. S. Ed Hoard and Reverend Gene Walton will officiate.
