Beverly Renee Gates

Mrs. Beverly Gates passed away December 31, 2020, at Piedmont Henry Hospital. She was born on December 23, 1952, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Willie “Bill” Daniel and the late Agnes Scott. Beverly is also preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Hammond. Beverly was a devoted wife and mother.
 
Survivors include husband, Eddie Gates; children, Jamaré (Joleatha) Gates and Armond Gates; sisters, Dimitri Daniel and Laquida Brown; brothers, Randy Oliver, Marquis (Dawn) Borders, Crispus (Cassandra) Daniel, and Perry (Chandra) Daniel; step-mother, Jeannette Daniel; grandchildren, RNija Dean, Jalen Wynn, Armoné Gates, Amaré Gates, Laila Wynn, and Laila Gates; sister-in-law, Mary Hamm; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
 
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held Friday, January 15, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Cleopatrick Lacy officiating. Masks will be required.
