Billy H. York

Mr. Billy Harold York, age 77 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Mr. York was born in Thomaston, Georgia on February, 9, 1942. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Elmo and Edna Dover York; brothers Charlie York and Donald York. Mr. York retired from Delta Airlines, with 25 years of service as a Supervisor of Plant Maintenance. He was a member of Rock Springs Congregational Methodist Church in Milner. 
Survivors include wife, Patricia York; sons, Kent (Donna) York and Kevin York; daughter, Karla (Dale) York Brown; grandchildren, Ben Hollingsworth, Abby Jones, Michael York and Billy York; Three great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Maureen) York; sister, Faye (Raymond) Odom and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mr. Billy H. York will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. You may also visit with the family prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate.
