Billy Joe Horne, age 57 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.

Billy was born on May 28, 1964 in Barnesville, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Gresham Horne. Billy worked for Trucks Inc., he loved fishing, football and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tracey Herndon Horne; children, Tracey Marie Horne, Billie Jean Long, Velma Michelle Horne, Thelma Gertrude Horne, William Joseph Horne; 12 grandchildren; father, Billy Horne; brothers, Mitchell and Karen Horne, Kenneth Horne, Chris Polk, Walter and Michelle Polk, Johnny Polk, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
