Bobbie Whitaker

Mrs. Bobbie Clara Louise Thrasher Whitaker, age 86, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019.

Mrs. Whitaker was born in Gadsden, Alabama on April 27, 1932. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Annie Nance Thrasher, husband, Gene Whitaker, daughter, Deborah W. Eubanks. She was a retired caregiver and member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Hampton.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Steve Whitaker of Tyrone, Roni and Chester Eubanks of Molena, Randy and Deloris Whitaker of Hampton, Alice Peterson of Griffin. She has 9 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Bobbie T. Whitaker will be Wednesday, February 27, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, February 28, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Kenneth Vanderford and Todd Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery.
