Brenda Dianne Phillips Clay age 69, of Griffin passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.
Brenda was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 11, 1952. Her father, William Edward Phillips and husband, Billy Harrison Clay, Sr and 1 grandchild all preceded her in death. Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Griffin High School and a was a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include, children, Jeffery H. Clay and wife, Misty Mechell, Billy H. Clay, Jr and wife, Debbie, Randy Edward Clay; 5 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren; her mother, Melba Phillips; sisters, Rita K. Devan, Lisa Amey; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be at Conner-Westbury Wednesday, January 19 from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm. Followed a funeral service in the chapel. Pastor Beth Stephens Johnson and Pastor Curt Johnson will officiate.
