Welcome to the memorial page for

Brenda Ann Wolf

November 4, 1952 ~ September 29, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old

On September 29, 2017, Brenda Ann Wolf was reunited with Larry Peter Wolf, her husband who she had missed greatly since his passing in 2015. Brenda was a dynamic soul who is loved immensely and will be missed deeply by many.

Brenda was born in Leesburg, Virginia on November 4, 1952. She raised her three children, Angela, Mark, and Elizabeth, in Northern Virginia before relocating to Griffin, Georgia with Larry and her granddaughter, Tawny. After many years of service, Brenda retired from the mortgage industry during the mid-2000s.

Brenda loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Vaughn United Methodist Church, where she served as an occasional pianist and vocalist in addition to volunteering much of her time assisting the church in any way she could. She was also a lover of literature, word games (she remains the reigning family champion of both Scrabble and Boggle), all things Harley Davidson, NASCAR, and any well-placed bird feeder.

Brenda will be remembered as the cornerstone of her family, a loyal friend, and a trusted confidante who was known to open her arms, heart, and home to those in need throughout her lifetime. She was forceful yet gentle and demanding yet selfless, but above all she was the embodiment of unwavering and unconditional love for others, especially her family.

Brenda is survived by her children, Angela (Mark), Mark (Ashley), and Elizabeth, her grandchildren, Tawny (Zack), Melanie, Scott, Toni, Curtis, Kayla, and Gregg, and many great-children, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. Brenda is reunited with her beloved husband, Larry, her sister, Susan, her parents, Mildred and James, her niece, Shannon, and life-long friend, Terri.

A service celebrating Brenda’s life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Vaughn United Methodist Church in Griffin, Georgia. Reverend Sandra Finley will officiate. The service will include an open-mic segment, during which all friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories of Brenda. A memorial motorcycle ride will precede the service and will depart from the parking lot of Connor-Westbury Funeral Home at 2:15 p.m. A fellowship dinner will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, Brenda’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to Vaughn United Methodist Church.
