Bruce E. Cavender

Mr. Bruce E. Cavender age 61 of Milledgeville, Georgia formerly of Griffin passed away, Sunday, October 27, 2019.

Mr. Cavender was born in Griffin, Georgia on October 2, 1958. His father, James Edward Cavender and mother and step father, Helen Chambers Mooney and Melvin Mooney along with his sister, Melissa Pitts precede him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Bruce loved spending time with the family, as well as hunting, fishing.

Survivors include wife, 34 years, Desiree H. Cavender; children, Eddie and Cassandra Cavender, Ashton and George Parham, Heather and Jeremy Weaver; grandchildren, Jewel Cavender, Melissa Cavender, Cody Parham; sisters, Joyce Bailey, Sherry Allen, Cindy Dodson; brother, Keith Mooney; mother-in-law, Rheba Holton; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bruce E. Cavender will be Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be in the chapel. Reverend Mark Wesley will officiate.
