Mr. Buddy Lee Payne, age 75 of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Mr. Payne was born in Ellijay, Georgia on May 15, 1942. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Payne and Della Aaron Payne. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He retired with 38 years of service from Ford Motor Company, is a member of Plainview Baptist Church and he loved to fish.
Survivors include, his wife, Andrea D. Payne; son, Terry Payne; daughter, Tami Bushman and husband Todd; step-daughter, Michelle Sears; 6 grandchildren; sister, Ann Futch; several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A visitation for Buddy Lee Payne will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Buster Dockins and Evangelist Bobby Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in Senoia City Cemetery.
