Byron "Michael" Lewis, age 66 formerly of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Byron was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 22, 1956. His parents, James Lewis and Rudine Padgett Lewis; wife, Virginia Land Lewis; sister, Molly O’Neal Sharp, all preceded him in death. He was a skilled carpenter who worked hard and enjoyed life. Byron’s hobbies were fishing, watching westerns and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Jamie Lewis, John Ross and Jessie Holloway; grandchildren, Thomas Logan, Athena Lewis, Abbigail Ross and Alexander Logan; siblings, Sylvia Holland, Jaye J. Doan, Marshall Lewis and Steven Lewis; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A visitation for Byron Michael Lewis will be Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
