Carol Pilcher Taylor, age 77 of Williamson, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence.
Carol was born in Griffin, Georgia on September 12, 1944 to the late William Raymond Pilcher and Carolyn Putman Pilcher. Her husband, Douglas MacArthur Taylor, brother, Chris Pilcher, and grandson, Isaiah Bryant also precede her in death.
Carol worked as a bookkeeper for both Dr. Kirkland, D.D.S. and Dr. Boswell, D.D.S. before retiring from the same position at the City of Griffin. After retirement, she enjoyed collecting lamps, arts, crafts and decorating, especially for Christmas. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and was always willing to help family and friends. Carol was a member of The Griffin Gun Club.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen M. Bryant and Penny D. Bryant; grandsons, Elija and Alexander Bryant, Michael and Gabriel Bailey; granddaughter, Eleanor Bryant; brother Mark Pilcher and wife, Sharon; sisters, Kathy Brake, Marcia Poston; nieces, Christy Mitchell, Kim Sitzman, Nikki Masdon, Lindy Langford, Emily Pilcher, Lane Pilcher; several cousins and friends.
A Memorial service will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Chaplain Winfred will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to “Cure Alzheimers Fund” 34 Washington St., Suite 310
