Mrs. Carolyn Brooks Buchanan, age 84 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017.

Mrs. Buchanan was born June 21, 1933 in Griffin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond D. Brooks and Inez H. Brooks, her husband, Bobby Buchanan. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church, a retired bus driver from the Spalding County School System.

She is survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Carolyn Buchanan will be on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a funeral service will be conducted in the chapel. Pastor Mike Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
