Catherine Van Nuys Milby age 77, of Fairhope, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Catherine was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 1, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Van Nuys; sister, Peggy Howard; and brother in-law, Bud Howard. Catherine enjoyed reading, especially about the Civil War. She also loved her family very much.
Survivors include son, Tony Milby (Honey); grandchildren, Caitlin Milby (Alex), and Amy Milby; great-grandchild, Jude Milby; brother, John Van Nuys (Nancy); and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at Berea Cemetery in Hampton. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made in Catherine's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
