Charlene Hazel Parker

Charlene Hazel Parker, age 81, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Charlene was born in Miami, Florida on July 3, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie N. Bauknight and Hazel Smith Bauknight, husband, Charles F. Parker Jr., granddaughter, Syndey Wilson; sister, Virginia Crawford. She is a member of Barnesville Apostolic Church of Lord and Jesus Christ.

She is survived by children, Jan Ah-low and husband Kim of Powder Springs, Larence Parker and wife Maria of Milner, James Parker and wife Melissia of Griffin, Lourinda Harris and husband Mike of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Mary Pat Garcia-Bowie and husband Jeremy, Melissa Wilson, Maria Gibbs and husband Roman, Timothy Parker, Misty Dawn Melton and husband David, Tabitha Bratton and husband Jeremy, Charles Luhrman and wife Brianna; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Anise Sawyer and husband Harold; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Charlene Hazel Parker will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 14 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Richard Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
