Mr. Charles Campbell age 64 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Charles was born in Griffin, Georgia on October 29, 1955. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Fay Campbell. Charles was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, was retired from the United States Marshal’s Service. Charles was a 1974 graduate of Griffin High School, very active in the Boys Scouts of America, Towaliga Indian Dance Team, loved tinkering with small engine repair, and working on the farm, checking on the cows and swinging his grandbaby in the swing in the yard.
Survivors include daughter, Holly Smith and husband Scott; grandchildren, Ty Smith and Charlette Smith; sister, Beth Campbell; brother, Mack Campbell and wife, Joann; nephews, Kyle and Ian; and fur baby, Mary.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a memorial service in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Wade Corley will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Boy Scout Troop # 77, 900 Blanton Mill Rd., Griffin, Georgia, 30223
