Charles Ray Horton, Sr. age 80 of Griffin passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018.

Mr. Horton was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 5, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus L. Horton and Margaree Hancock Horton; wife, Muriel Pulliam Horton. Mr. Horton was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the Griffin Kiwanis Club, the Griffin Boat Club and Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, and son-in-law, Nancy and Bobby Atchison; son, and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Lori Horton; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Bob Lutz; grandchildren, Emily Stroup and husband, Guy, Mandy Cornelison and husband Jed, Jon Atchison, Wes Lutz and wife, Brittany, Wil Lutz; great-grandchildren, Logan, Spencer, Camdyn, Pepper and Scout; sister, Jane Horton; Tiffany, Devan and Emily Raines.

Visitation for Charles Ray Horton, Sr. will be Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. No formal service will be held at this time.
