Charles Buddy McDowell

Mr. Charles Buddy McDowell, age 76, of Griffin passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. McDowell was born in Griffin, Georgia on April 15, 1944. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Jackson McDowell and Flora Pauline Redding. Mr. McDowell served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Charles was raised on a farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his siblings.

Survivors include brother; Tony McDowell and life partner Penny Reeves; several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid19 Virus and current restrictions in place by the State of Georgia and Spalding County, a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
