Charlotte Anthony

Charlotte Annette Mayne Anthony, age 76 of Griffin, passed away on May 16, 2018.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Liz) Gardiner; father, Henry Mayne; grandson, James Taylor; sisters, Joan Hamilton, Linda Keith. She was also known as Maw-Maw Charlotte from the Clothesline store, where she worked.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Tony L. Anthony; sister, Lula Adams; children, Annette Mitchell (Thomas), Natalie Marbut (David), Betty Jenkins, Neamon Chambers (Tracey); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Charlotte Anthony will be Friday May 18, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel. Beth Stephens will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
