Orville Clyde King, III, known as “Chip”, age 56 passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 near Shelby, North Carolina in a trucking accident. Chip was born March 12, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas. His father, Orville Clyde King, Jr. precedes him in death. Chip lived in several states growing up and developed a great love of traveling. Eventually he would become a long-haul truck driver. He is survived by his mother, Barbara King Buck (Phil) of St. Augustine, FL; sister, Kelly King Heflin of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Don G. King (Emily) of Griffin, Georgia; six nieces and nephews, Kate Pearce (Kevin), Libby Curran (Kevin) Max Heflin (Sarah), Graham King, Mackenzie King, and Madison King; three great nieces and nephews. We will all miss his hearty laugh and big hugs.
