Mr. Christopher Danny Nichelson, age 48 of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Nichelson was born in Decatur, Georgia on March 8, 1969. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence D. Nichelson and Patricia Cook Nichelson; sister, Tammy Nichelson. Mr. Nichelson was employed by Comcast Communication as a technician. He loved to share Jesus with people, was a social butterfly and loved to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Nichelson; son, Matthew D. Nichelson; daughters, Laura L. Nichelson, Holly McCord and Husband Bobby, Lacy Oliver, Shalandra Henderson, Christa Edge; sister, Janie Young and Husband Andy; niece, Gabi Young; great nieces, Izzy Parker, Aria Parker; great nephew, Scottie Parker; grandmother, Alice McWaters; mother in law, Rita Dube and extended family.

Visitation for Mr. Christopher D. Nichelson will be on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with Reverend John Nance officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Oak Hill Baptist Missions, Rushton's Hope and The Christian Women's Center in memory of Mr. Nichelson.
