Clara Jean Wright

Mrs. Clara J. Wright, age 86 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018.

Mrs. Wright was born in Alexander City, Alabama on March 8, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis Adams and Lurleen Wright Adams; husband, James William Wright; son, James Ricky Wright. Mrs. Wright was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McBurnett and husband Melvin; grandchildren, Kelli Wright, Jamie McBurnett, Scottie McBurnett and wife Jennifer, Tonya Hiers and husband Shaun, Amanda Gardiner, Nicki Nash and husband Stephen, Jason Vanzant and wife Crystal; great-grandchildren, Destin McBurnett and wife Elizabeth, Hayley McBurnett, Jordyn Gardiner, Kaydence Gardiner, Halstyn Vanzant, Rohan Nash, Brayden Nash; daughter-in-law, Deronna Wright; brother, Jerry Wright; several nephews and extended family.

A visitation for Clara J. Wright will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Edgar Waters will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
