Colter Davis Chasteen age 21, of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
Colter was born June 18, 1998 in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia. Colter is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Chandler Chasteen and David H. Fulton. He was employed at Mid Georgia Nursery, was a Welder by trade and an accomplished horseman. He was active in the Spalding County 4-H and was a Master 4-Her. He had completed his solo flight through the Candler Field Museum Youth Aviation Program, in Williamson, Georgia.
He is survived by his two daughters, Aleah Kate Chasteen and Skyler Grey Chasteen; his parents, Cary and Melissa Chasteen; grandmothers Dean Chasteen and Janet Fulton; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
