Donna Higgins Harpe, age 70 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Donna was born in Tifton, Georgia on June 3, 1951. Her parents Roy Eugene “Gene” and Betty Fay Lemons Higgins preceded her in death. She was a retired teacher with the Griffin- Spalding County School System. Music was her passion. She was one of “The Dulcimer Duo”, played the Ukulele at First Baptist Church, and was a part of the Peachtree City Orchestra and the Oak Hill Church Orchestra. She attended Oak Hill Church in Griffin.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip “Flip” Harpe; daughter, Heather Carroll and her husband, Chris, son Jarrett Harpe; grandchildren, Taylor Carroll, Reese Carroll, and Peyton Carroll; sister Terri Cottle; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Thomas Hill.
