Dale Robertson Kenway

Dale Robertson Kenway, age 64 Thomaston passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 his residence surrounded by his family.

Dale was born in Spalding County, Georgia on January 26, 1958.  His mother, Willie F. Hinson Meminger; father, Robert Kenway; and brother, Otis Kenway all preceded him in death.  Dale was retired from Carter’s as a machine operator.  He was good at predicting the weather, and he loved to hunt and fish.  Dale was an excellent storyteller, and he enjoyed telling jokes.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a genuine good soul.

Survivors include his wife, Eveline Kenway; sister, Donna Kenway Garner (Jasper (Fuzzy)); brothers, Rocky Kenway (Rhonda), Carlton Kenway (Jewel), Joe Tillman (Tina); children, Tina Brawner, Terry Jones (Kendall), Heaven Kenway Grimes (fiancé Shawn Darsey), Jessica Maddox (Brandon); grandchildren, Sarah and Megan Brawner, Kenleigh-Reese and Levi Jones, Peyton Grimes, Jacklynn and Christian House; and lifelong best friend, Jackie Clark.

A family memorial will be held.  In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the “Dale Kenway Memorial Fund” by contacting United Bank.
