Mr. Dale Wesley Turner, Sr., age 72 of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Mr. Turner was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 16, 1946. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoke and Margaret Turner, sisters, Sandra Hambrick, Darlene Chambers; brothers, David Turner, Robert Turner. Mr. Turner was a certified welder at General Cable for 13 years. He also worked at Dundee Mills for 18 years as a Loom Fixer. Dale enjoyed working on cars and was known as the family mechanic, and enjoyed fishing and watching John Wayne movies. He was a member of Orchard Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include; his wife, Dixie Robinson Turner; daughters, April Dickerson and husband, Joe, Tanya Morris and husband, Wayne; son, Dale Wesley Turner, Jr. and wife, Starr; grandchildren, Amber Peek and husband, Ryan, Shyanne Clark, Johnathan Turner, Dallas Pulley, Emily Turner, Annsley Turner, Daniel Morris and Dustin Morris; great grandchild, Allison Peek; brother, Donnie Turner and wife, Kim; sister, Debra Johnston; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Dale Turner, Sr. will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday September 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Dundee Lake Pavilion, 245 Dundee Lake Road, Griffin, Georgia.
