Daniel David Turner

Daniel David Turner, 60 of Griffin, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Cannon and by his father, Daniel Turner. David had been courageously fighting cancer for the past year but passed with complications due to COVID.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna along with his daughter, Danita Fisher (Stephen) and her children; Dalton McDonald, Bryce McDonald, Aiden Fisher and Braylin Fisher as well as other loved ones, Jason Worth, Sean Nichols, Tracey Robitshek, and Kaylee Matheny (Chaston), sisters Nicole Chappelle, Katy Young.

From his Dad, who was retired military, David learned his great love for his country and riding Harley’s. They would often go on trips together. David grew up riding dirt bikes and would often compete in competitions. David worked for Waffle House and after 34 years retired. David loved Rock music and he would often spend hours playing the guitar in his music room. David loved spending time with his family and they would have grand cookouts every 4th of July with huge firework displays. David loved going to the beach. He and Donna would go several times a year and always for their anniversary. He loved to watch the sunsets over the water.

Visitation for David Turner will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury officiated by Reverend Tyson Roache. Interment will be at Brooks Memorial Garden.
