Mrs. Darlene W. Garland age 81of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, July 10 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Garland was born July 27, 1935, in Zebulon, Georgia. She is preceded in death by parents, Harvey W. Wilson and Ollie Hunter Wilson; brothers, Weyman Wilson and Vince Wilson. Mrs. Garland was a strong caring woman. She retired from Southern States. Mrs. Garland enjoyed waking up in the morning and walking at the Griffin track.

Survivors include her children, Vicky Williams and husband, Robby, Charles Wright and wife, Rhonda, Glynn Wright and wife, Cindy and Beverly Simmons; grandchildren, Pam Combs, David Harris and Kristin Lefeuvre; 7 great-grandchildren; 1great-great-grandchild; special family, Judy Mayes. Mrs. Garland also had a loyal companion Lulu.

Visitation for Mrs. Darlene W. Garland will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Davis Family Cemetery in Pike County.
