David Wayne Eady

Mr. David Wayne Eady, 57 of Griffin passed away Friday, October 16, 2020.

David Wayne Eady was born January 10, 1963 to parents Oliver and Marie Eady. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 16, 2020. He is proceeded in death by parents, Oliver and Marie Eady, Brother Joe Eady, special Uncle Alfred Eady, special friend Oscar Gresham, and many other aunts and uncles.

David has always been a family man with a kind heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. David loved his family and friends with all of his heart. One of his favorite things to do was get together with his family to smoke some meat and make a huge pot of stew. David was a long time employee of Transcontinental Packaging.

David is survived by fiancé Evangeline Sparks, brothers Albert (Linda), John (Denise) and Gabriel Kitchens (Nancy), special nieces and nephews, Jason Eady (Amanda), Jennifer Bunn (Terris), Gracie Vaughan, Brooke and Thomas Smith, Bethany and Matt Marbut. Great-nieces and nephew, Autumn Eady, Leila Eady, Aniston Vaughan and Easton Smith; lifelong special love Peggy Brannon, special cousin Amanda Eady “Trouble”, and many other cousins. Special friend Buck Darcy, and many others. David was loved by so many people, and would want us to know he truly cherished all of the memories and loved us all.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Stephen Dervan will officiate.
