David Lamar Smith

Mr. David Lamar Smith age 75 of Williamson passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence.

Lamar was born in Porterdale, Georgia on February 24, 1945. His parents, J.D. Newton Smith and Rosa Smith, daughter, Melissa Dawn Smith Lawrence, son, Michael David Smith and a sister, Elaine smith Carlin all preceded him in death. Lamar was a veteran of the United States Air Force, worked for the City of Griffin Golf Course until he became ill. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Smith; daughter, Sabrina Smith; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Smith and Tommy Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, February 22, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Travis Rigsby and Reverend Andy Cook will officiate.
