David Gregory Stallings

David Gregory Stallings passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at his home in Williamson, Georgia, having recently suffered a heart attack. Greg was born on October 23, 1956.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Sue Brown Stallings; brothers, John Mark Stallings, Daniel Joseph Stallings; his maternal and paternal grandparents; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julie Stallings; his father, Pastor Jim Stallings and wife, Barbara; brothers, Timothy Wayne Stallings, Benjamin Aaron Stallings, Zachary Paul Stallings, and Caleb Becker Stallings and his wife, Aleece, as well as nephews and nieces.

He was a graduate of Briarwood High School, and worked for Founders Kitchen and Bath for the past 20 years as a service technician. Several years ago, he took a year off work and built the house that he and Julie have been living in for 23 years.

Greg loved music, played the guitar and wrote music. On days off he often might be found riding his motorcycle. He was good to everyone he knew, helping them in whatever way he could. His family and friends all knew him to be a generous man. He was a faithful witness of the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved his wife, his family, his friends, and his dog, Flossy. We loved him. He will always be missed.

Visitation for Greg will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be in the Chapel officiated by Pastor Caleb Stallings. Interment will follow in the old section of Oak Hill Cemetery.
