Sending my condolence to David's family and friends. I was lucky to have met David ("Wiser 1") on the golf outings in Santee, SC. He provided many fond memories on the golf trips and in conversations on the phone which will never be forgotten! David will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dave, you were like a big brother to me. I will always love you. I will always cherish our days of being roommates in college. I have wonderful memories I will hold on to until I see you again. I hope you know how much you will be missed by so many. God, please stand by this family and help them to heal, and find peace and comfort in their faith that Dave will forever be with them. To Michael and the Wiser Family: so many people loved your son, your brother, your cousin...and so many people are praying for you!

I have had the pleasure of working with David for 15 years. From the beginning as an internal auditor until his latest position as my boss. During that time I watched his career grow and at the same time, developed a special relationship with him. He was a good, hard working, honest, dedicated man that I respected very much. During the past 10 years we worked closely together and he became not only a wonderful boss, but also a very good friend. I am so thankful that I was able to be a part of his life. My heart goes out to his family and friends and I hope you find peace and comfort in your cherished memories.

The office is never going to be the same without you - you will be greatly missed!

Over 10 years I had the great pleasure of spending many hot days on the golf courses of Santee, South Carolina with David. I am priviledged to call him Friend. He was one of those unique individuals that made everyone's day better by being with us. I hope that the prayers and kind thoughts expressed here and over the coming days will bring some comfort to the Wiser Family. God bless you David, you will be missed.

David was one of those rare people who combined a keen intelligence and competence with an easy going affable demeanor. It was always a pleasure to be part of a working group with David. You could always count on him to have all of the needed facts at his fingertips—he was a master of his domain—and for his practical insights and suggestions. With his easy humor and charm, and willingness even to laugh at himself, David made work all the more tolerable and pleasurable for everyone around him. He will be greatly missed.

I have had the pleasure to work with David for 14 years, starting at the Controllers' Conference in San Francisco where he made sure us golf fanatics got to play Half Moon Bay and each one of us hit one into the Pacific. One of those moments you never forget. At that time I had only been employed for a week and he made me feel part of the team right away.

We all witnessed the side of David that led to his quick rise to CFO. His intelligence, easy manner and strategic thinking is a big reason for our company's success. But make no mistake - David worked hard. I always told him he was my favorite CFO. When he asked why I told him it was because he was the only person in the executive suite that was always there - even on Friday afternoons.

As many of you have, I had the pleasure of seeing another side of David. The side that made you think of him as a friend and a truly great person. I saw it on the golf course at our Thursday night league. David was a frequent participant and he really enjoyed playing with folks from other departments. Even though it was an individual event it was a shamble format so each foursome played the best drive in. David took pleasure in having someone in his foursome win - even if it wasn't him. That is the real spirit in which the league was formed and starting next season it will be known as the David Wiser Memorial Golf League.

My heart goes out to David's family.

My deepest condolences to David's family, I only got to know him over the last year, and only over the phone on a number of work-related conference calls, but he made a hugely positive impression on me with his quick mind and wit

It is so nice to see all of the well wishes to my good friend David. Although we started off very slowly in our relationship 19 years ago, it really started to blossom over the last 10 years. He was basically a brother to me and my family as we shared many trips, holidays, social events, births of my children and golf matches together. I feel very saddened to see my good friend and boss go as many of you have mentioned. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. As I learned from a passing of another person, it is not goodbye, but we will see you later. Just FYI.

David will be missed by everyone. Thinking back, I remember the times I was his partner in golf and heard how bad I played, the discussions I would try to have and the way his eyes glaze over as he lost interest (in about a minute), the many times he showed his humor and cut someone but most of all I will remember his sharp mind and the way that he could figure out anything that came his way in business. He was always someone I could call and share what was going on and he would lead me to the right answer. My prayers are with the family in this time of grief and that as the loss subsides they will be filled with the many happy moments and thoughts that made David the unique person he was. I miss you my friend. Steve Webb

David, we had a short time together as roommates in college - you and Darren and me, while living next door to Kim, Heather, Tina, Alyson, and Leslie. It was like a real-life version of "Friends". You were a huge part of one of the most fun and memorable times in my life. You've left us but we are forever connected by our shared laughter from so long ago. GOD rest your soul my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with David when he first came to Pratt-Valpo to be our controller. He was only there for a couple of years before he transferred to Georgia to be our CFO, but the time he was there he left a lasting impression. Our offices were next to each other and David would constantly throw a ball against the wall to get my attention. He always told Amy, Heather and myself that a monkey could do our work better than us. David always would wear corduroy pants no matter what the weather. The day he was moving to Ga we had a party for him-he came in after the movers had left.. Unfortunately the new controller had walked out & David ended up staying awhile longer while all his possessions went to GA. I will miss him him so much--such a young age to be taken-I am heartbroken over his passing-he will be missed by many.
