Debra Ann Elliott

Debra Ann Elliott, age 68 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on June 25, 2022 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Debra was born in Adel, Georgia on September 9, 1953. Her mother, Veleta Weatherington Browning; son, Brian Douglas Brooks; and grandson, David Keith Brooks, all preceded her in death. She was a retired educator, and a member of Eagle’s Way Church. Among her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, gardening, working crossword puzzles, and golf. She was involved in many of the activities at Sun City until her health declined.

Survivors include, her husband, David Elliott; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cammy Brooks; granddaughter, Emily Brooks; her father, Lamar Browning; sister, Kathy Goodman; aunt Sandra Stinson; and several cousin.

A visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2:30 at Eagle’s Way, 100 Hudson Road, Griffin. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be in the sanctuary.
