Diane S. Taylor

Diane Spurlock Taylor age 76 of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Diane was born April 5, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Libby Spurlock. Diane was retired from St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company (presently known as Travelers Insurance) as a Regional Director. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and loved time spent on the beach. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Griffin where she was the Pastor's wife, church secretary, treasurer, pianist and Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Dr. Ernest Edward Taylor Jr.; daughters, Shelley Sweatte and husband John, Kim Page and husband, Chris; grandchildren, John and Hayley Sweatte, Charles and Madison Sweatte, Elizabeth Page and Ethan Page.

Visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The service will be Tuesday, August 2 at 11:00 am in the chapel. Pastor John Sweatte will officiate. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
