Dolores V. Elliott

Mrs. Dolores V. Elliott, age 81 of Griffin, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Mrs. Elliott was born December 23, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Vermadell D. Keating; husband, John Paul Elliott, Sr.; daughter, Julia L. Elliott; grandchild, Kayden M. Head. Mrs. Elliott and her husband have owned and operated H&R Block in Griffin since 1982. After the passing of her husband in 1991, she continued to run the business until her retirement. Her sons still own and operate the business today. Mrs. Elliott loved to crochet, read and travel.

Survivors include her children, John P. Elliott, Jr., Jeffrey S. Elliott and wife Della Denise, Jennifer Ann Elliott, Jason Edward Elliott and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Candace E. Elliott, Courtney M. Head, Benjamin E. Elliott, Nichols T. Elliott; great grandchildren, Kyle Head, Kayson Head; brother, Richard Keating and wife Eileen.

A visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury funeral home. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
