Donna Carden Hilton

Donna Carden Hilton , age 68 of Senoia, Georgia passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.
Donna was born in Griffin, Georgia, on January 24, 1952. She found her love for Jesus at an early age and kept that strong faith throughout her courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she loved being with her Joyful Hearts Sunday school class.
Donna's career spanned nearly 4 decades in the law enforcement field. Her longest tenure was at her second home, the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. In 2018, she retired but has continued to remain close to her sheriff's department family. Many of Donna's family at home and work have answered our nation's call by serving in the United States military. She held a deep and special place in her heart for those who served our country and communities.
Donna's love for God was first and foremost in her life. Secondly, came her love for her grand babies. She loved them with all her heart and loved spending as much time with them as possible. She was strong in her Christian faith and values. This could be seen in her love for her family, friends, church, country, and community.
Donna is now walking with Jesus and will be remembered forever on earth.
Donna is survived by her children, Ryan Horne and wife Stephanie, Steven Hilton and wife Mary; grandchildren, Mackenzie Horne, Bailey Horne, Wesley Hilton; brothers, Michael Carden and wife Lynn, Chris Carden and wife Carol; nephew, nieces, great nieces, and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 27th, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Conner - Westbury Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be at Oak Hill Baptist church on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The family is asking for attendants to wear bright and cheerful colors, as this is a celebration of her homecoming. Those unable to make the service, a delayed recording will be available on Donna's tribute page after 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pastor John Nance will officiate.
