Donnie Lee Davis, 27 was born October 1, 1992 in Stockbridge GA passed away January 7, 2020.

"Such a genuinely good person", "Free spirited and misunderstood", "He was good at everything he tried, a good guy", "Best friend and great man". "He vibed at higher frequency than most"... these are the words used to describe Donnie by those closest to him.  Donnie grew up in and around Henry county GA attended Eagles Landing and Locust Grove High Schools. As a child, he practiced taekwondo, rode BMX, played basketball, and loved skateboarding, drawing, and music. Donnie also enjoyed video gaming and board games. He was creative and intelligent and had an incredible sense of humor. He had a gift of making people feel better. He never met a stranger, ever. Donnie had a happy, uplifting, and vibrant spirit that was contagious to all who he was around. Even through tough times, Donnie remained resilient and never gave up. He excelled in all he set his mind to. Donnie never outgrew his love for skateboarding. It was his passion. Drawing, painting, tattooing, and rap poetry/music are some of the creative outlets he used to continue to express his many artistic abilities. Donnie had a profound love and respect for his family and friends and made sure they knew he was there for them even when things were uncertain for him personally. Donnie is deeply missed by those who knew and love him.

He leaves behind father, David Larry Davis; mother, Tracy Barwick MacDonald; sister, Lauren Marie Davis. Paternal grandparents, David Davis and Alice Davis (deceased), maternal grandparents, Lonnie (Cindy) Barwick and Sherry Hankinson (deceased). Special friends, Whitney Lewis and Cody Highfield. Uncles, Robert Barwick, Cale Ward, and Ricky Key. Aunts, Amanda Martin, Misty Ward, and Denise Key (deceased). Cousins Chad McMicheal, Dylan McMicheal, Keri Key Waldridge, Lee Key, Trenton Ochiltree, Gage Ward and Zack Ward.

A potluck memorial is being held at Hampton United Methodist Church 10 W Main St, Hampton, GA Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at 2pm. We invite all who would like to attend, to come gather with us and share our memories of Donnie.
