Donny Ray McKinley

Mr. Donny Ray McKinley age 68, of Milner, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Donny was born in Upson County, Georgia and November 21, 1949. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Raymond and Bessie Boyt McKinley, brothers, Leonard “Sonny” McKinley, Mike McKinley, Rickey McKinley, father-in-love, Herbert O’Kelley. Donny retired from Continental Tire in Barnesville, was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Milner, Georgia. He loved woodworking, blacksmithing, painting pictures, cruises to Cozumel, spoiling everyone and building a VW trike that is still unfinished.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa O’Kelley McKinley; children, Joshua McKinley and wife, Nicole, Stacey Head and husband, Francis, Stephanie Banks, special son, Tom McDaniel; grandchildren, Grace Banks, Cayden Banks, Will Head, Zoie Fowler, Tabitha Barnes; great-grandchild, Jacob Daniel; mother-in-love, Carolyn O’Kelley, sister-in-love, Dianne McKinley; sisters, Linda Hoyal, Mary Watson, Vickie Griffin; best friend, Smokey; special cousin, Regina Stephens; brother-in-law, Harry O’Kelley and wife, Rhonda; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for Donny R. McKinley will be on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Danny Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
