Doris K. Brannon

Mrs. Doris Kirkland Brannon, age 76 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Brannon was born February 17, 1942 in Nashville, Georgia. She is preceded in death by parents, George M. and Ella Mae Wells Kirkland; son, Danny Brannon. She was retired from Griffin-Spalding County Hospital and a member of Griffin First Assembly

Survivors include her husband, Paul W. (Sonny) Brannon; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Allen Burleson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sandi Brannon; grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel and Heather McMickle, Ashley Spear, Heather Brannon, Tyler and Carol Jean (Coffey) Brannon; several great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Pat Kirkland, Bobby and Sue Kirkland; sister-in-law, Mattie Sanford; brother-in-law, Billy Sumner; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mrs. Doris K. Brannon will be Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Kelley Gregory will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
