Dorothy Imogene Imes

Mrs. Dorothy Imogene Imes, age 92, of Griffin passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Imes was born in Thomaston, Georgia  on May 15, 1926. She is preceded in death her parents, Rollza Fitch Gordy and Lou Ola Gordy; her husband, Dane F. Imes.   She was retired from the Highland Mills and a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Dana Harris; granddaughters, Daylin Davis and husband Harry, Deanna Ramsey and husband James; great-grandchildren, Dara, D.J., Dane, Dylan, Andrew, Ally, Anthony and wife Caitlin

Visitation for Mrs. Imes will be Monday, October 29, 2018 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm in the chapel of Conner- Westbury Funeral Home. Nephew, Craig Gordy will officiate.  Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery.
