Doyle "Dwain" Garrett

Mr. Doyle Dwain Garrett age 81 of Griffin passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Garrett was born in Marietta, Georgia on August 16, 1939. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert M. Garrett and Bessie Barron Garrett; brothers, Maurice Garrett, Bill Garrett and Earl Garrett. Mr. Garrett was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a family man always putting others first. His hobbies were going outdoors, camping, golfing and working around the house.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Garrett; sons, Roger Garrett and wife, Jennifer, Stoney Garrett and wife, Tracy, Dustin Garrett and wife, Lorie; grandchildren, Collin Parent and wife, Camielle, Evan Garrett and Ethan Garrett; great-grandchildren, Addie Smith and Bristol Parent; siblings, Charles Garrett and wife, Eve, Helen Landrum and husband, Jimmy, Linda Garrett; sisters-in-law, Mildred Grant, Glennelle Garrett, Verna Garrett, Midge Parrish; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Graveside service for Doyle Dwain Garrett will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Greers Chapel Cemetery, 2095 Barrett Lakes Blvd NW at Barrett Pkwy Kennesaw, GA 30144. Sam Reynolds will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Greers Chapel Baptist Church, 1848 Greers Chapel Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
