Tribute

Edward Partain, age 86 of Griffin passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his residence.

Edward was born in Thomaston, Georgia on June 4, 1935. He is preceded in death by his parents; Lucious “Bud” and Josephine Presley Partain, brother; William Jack Partain.

Mr. Partain was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joanne Martin Partain; son, Keith Partain (Robin); grandchildren, Amanda Nemyer (Drake), Brandy Lane (fiance’ Preston Readdy), Trevor Farrow (Tabatha); great-grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Peyton, Gabe, Gavin, and Tanner; sister, Gail Powell (Al); and his beloved dog, “Jax”.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will be Oak Hill Cemetery.
